Cant  blame him for being disenchanted. decent bikes those thruxtons but quality control probably isnt as good as it could be or once was.  i think they are primarily assembled in hinkley  but they could be a malaysian  bike like the new street twin  bonney.  The fact that triumph chose to have the daytona engines assembled by Lotus tells me that they know they have QC issues in house.

Triumph spares does seem to be a confusing passtime for them as it took a few weeks just to get a part sent from melbourne for my bike and it was the wrong item. Next time i need to grab a genuine article i wont listen to the counter attendant I will give them the part number and hand them an express post satchel.

wow...unhappy punter using the  inet to gain some power back. I would have asked triumph for a refund rather than piss them off. still they may only have had a  basket full of platitudes...
