Would have expected something about now.

Post by: smed on October 13, 2016, 07:06:48 pm: Dunno how true it was but heard they reckoned us dirt bikers whinged too much about the track prep & they were gonna drop us from the program, seems highly unlikely to me ;), having said that the track has been pretty crap in times gone by, didn't see too many old pommy tackle or even pre 75's out there last Easter, ain't that what it's all about, the track should be usable for the older bikes first, the more modern stuff can just go faster ;), I attended a modern practice day there not long before, there was a do or die drop off that had been built up for some championship race or other, My modern over that jump was shit scary, if you rolled it a nose dive would happen, if you hit it on the gas you would go sky high, either way you landed with a huge jolt, All good for young 17 year old Johhny A grader who could clear the gap as they treated it like a downhill double ;) I took my EVO bike to HBBB but did not get it off the trailer, I heard that jump was still the same :(, not for me thanks :)

Post by: 80-85 husky on October 13, 2016, 08:16:06 pm: yes, that drop off shook the crap out of the 510 and my wrists haven't been the same >:( blew a fork seal as well, pretty pissed off about it. so saying, there was a guy lapping that track waay faster than me on an old b 50 or something, he hit that drop flat strap every time :o 3.5 inches of travel
