Title: V force reeds
Post by: Slakewell on August 01, 2016, 04:35:02 pm
I purchased some V force for my 360 Husky and it was by far the best money I spent performance wise. I now would like another set for next Husky project but the supplier I used seems to have gone. Huskydoggg.com. Has anyone purchased these recently? Or know of good supplier? Google/ebay doesn't offer much.

HVA factory are the sole supplier for early Husky V Force reeds now. Minimum freight cost (DHL) is 60 pound so you really need to buy more to make it worthwhile.

Look at the number on your existing VF.  Better still get an old VF2 reed  and make your own adaptor plate as the cage is the same size for 85cc  another for 125cc and a lot of 250cc and open seem to be the same cage.

Thanks Bruce that's kind of you.
I don't have an old number , It is for a Husky 420. At the moment all I have is a blank cylinder.

The mounting plates are all plastic to alter the holes spacing is easy, Moto Tassinari will email you a drawing with the VF number if you send them the bolt spacing

Hi Slakewell
Im going up to the Mototassani warehouse next week to look at some reed sizes
if your up for it draw a pic of your reed base gasket ,outside shape, inside shape, and hole spacing in mm
and i will see if we can match one up for you
