can the PE175T,X and on pistons be used in the PE175C/N the part numbers are different?

I have a genuine Suzuki piston to suit PE175 c/n, or so it says on the box. Part No. 12110-41503-050    .50 over if you need one.

Yes. Apparently there's a difference in the transfer cut-outs in the skirt, but I can't tell you what they are - I rebuilt The Wife's N model using a later model piston, but the worn out piston was already the later type...

I know the later rings fit and they have discontinued the 1978/79 pistons so all good to go with PE175T(later type) pistons.
