I need to renew my Ambulance only cover for racing, can anyone recommend who to go with in Victoria?? Best value for money?
-
I think you've only got one option, ambulance Victoria?
-
are you by any chance a union member ? i am an ETU member and they provide free cover for you and the whole family, if you use the service ( have twice and just recently) you send them the invoice with some paper work and they pay the invoice.
not sure of other unions !

Most private health funds have ambulance cover.

I am covered through the ETU as well.
I had to go from hospital to hospital by ambulance was covered.
Some private health insurance companys only cover emergency ambulance only.
-
I'm with HCF, around $40-$50 a year.

Just go direct to ambulance Vic. Even if your health fund says they cover you, it will only be a very limited, partial cover (read the fine print). For about $40 a single & $90 for a family, you'd have to be nuts not to have ambulance cover, especially if you ride motorcycles.

If you are a pensioner or health card holder in NSW you are automatically covered for ambulance. Zane

Its $54 a year with Medibank Private, didn't have any issues with their cover a couple of years back after I fell off my XR500 ::) ::) ::) ::)
I changed to their full top cover after that ::) ::) ::)

NIB, about $120/year for four of us.

Thanks, I just signed up with Abulance Victoria. I was with HCF but they only do NSW, ACT.

I just heard at a club meeting last night that the reciprocal arrangement between states in being changed.
Maybe do some research into that if you are expecting cover interstate. One club member binned it big time on a ride to Perth and was covered, air ambulance etc, but beware.
