Were can I get blank sprockets any ideas

Some "industrial" sprockets are quite inferior to good m/c sprockets.
I recently got an alloy blank 520 from JTR for my Elefant and it seems very good. Same basic material as I used to get from a guy who made custom sprockets (now retired), by flipping the sprocket every new chain I get about 50,000km from a sprocket.
You can buy them direct or get them thru your local bike shop

Well yes i would agree it depends on the application/use so i would not just label any sprocket from an 'industrial' supplier as junk straight away, it depends on how it will be used. A 1930's british bike or a 1980's jap bike.....??? if you really need something special you can get an off the shelf sprocket lets say JT brand and then have it attached to a different center or as with some of the old bikes that never had removeable sprockets, welded onto the brake drum and re-heat treated. I have had that done many times.

what to expect $$ wise

Link international do blank sprockets at around 69 dollars. Can order direct or through local dealer. Link is a Major motorcycle accessories supplier so should no problem.

The rebanding is pretty expensive but i could not tell you a price off the top of my head. Its usually a last resort when nothing else is available or only done on old stuff where the sprocket is fixed to the brake drum like many old english bikes. For example of 'last restort' i am considering a 17T front for one of my TS250's. Impossible to buy one for 520 with right splines so my only option would be to find a 17 from something else and then machine out the TS center splines and weld to the new 17 T outer , heat treat etc and to do all that is expensive. So i am trying to make do with 16T for the time being.

I think I paid about $70 for a ~36 T
