Yeah got a spare L head. L&M are heavier with same cc. Guess it should be a better heatsink being heavier. Sunny coast. Will have a look after work and make sure its ok.

Just had a look. Only one I have surplus at the moment is an early one. Good CC and good threads but one broken fin  on the inside. i think it was damaged in transit when I bought the engine.

thanks for the replies but after a rethink of what ill do to my bombed out 185A which includes a change to a close ratio box from a tm/rm125M. id be better to buy some 185A bits to shovel some new bits into and fit a standard unported top end on the bottom end ive got so ill put another wish list up for what i need soon.

A model has better porting. Rack n pinion clutch. Easy off spigot carb. Heaps better idea. Would also save playing with studs as A model base studs are short and earlier are  straight thru for the 4 tube bolts in the head. Im sure a little port tickle, pipe and a cr box would have a nice little ride. Bills goes well.

ask cyclegod as he put a tm125 box in a 185 motor so it can be done. checking alphasports site list the output shaft to be the same in tm125/ts125 and all ts/er185's,input shafts have different part numbers due to the different 1st gear ratio's which are cut into the shafts
