just putting the feelers out there to see if at all possible but is there anyone with a 1984 IT490L interested in swapping for a 1980 Honda CR250 R Moto X Fox replica garage queen. Mine has Fox Forx, Fox Shox, PFR pipe, RC replica tank, KLP Fox replica swingarm, new wheels, complete spare motor, spare barrel and vforce from Eric Gorr in the States - excellent condition - I have not yet ridden it and in the condition it is probably wont. I am chasing a Vinduro mount instead.
Drop me a line if there is anything out there - must be of similar quality. I have seen a couple around recently but cannot find them now :'(
Feel free to tell me if you think I am losing my mind - I am aware of a couple who will ;D
cheers

it 490 L? next best thing to a husky ;D
-
have been offered a couple of Huskies already - however don't know much about them :-\
-
have a look at café husky website. a great source of inspiration, manuals and general husky info. huskys are simple to own, bearings are all skf, just go get em at a shop, hva factory and Husqvarnaparts.com have a great supply of parts and go fast goodies. great fun to ride and easy to do up.

Any interest in a tidy 490K?

This is a while back and as mentioned will take some more current photos asap. The PFR pipe has been removed, polished and sealed. Front wheel has been redone with SM Pro rim and HD stainless spokes, rear wheel being done currently. KLP swingarm installed and polished (or polished and installed ;D). I am chasing some new sidecovers as these have some scratches in them and cheaper to replace than repair unfortunately. Also doing some work on the airbox to get to the level required. Have just received a batch of my nuts and bolts that were sent out for zinc plating - thanks Rick - another reason why the bike not yet in one piece but not far to go.

Nice looking 250 8)

I had a 490L, it was a great bike, but the 86 Husky 400WR that replaced it outperformed it in every way, even horsepower. Now have a 1988 Husky 400WR that is even better than the '86, looking forward to it's first Vinduro!
80-85 Husky is correct when he said the 490L is the next best thing though!
