Title: QLD / Brisbane / North / Samford wanted: carby guru to help with XLV 750 R etc
Post by: Tomkah on March 26, 2016, 09:28:05 am
Hello,

I own a couple of bikes, mainly Yamaha IT/TT/XT but also a few "exotic" bikes. Currently I am riding a Honda XLV 750 R, which I just finished refurbishing. The bike runs well but I hope to find somebody in the Samford area who knows their way around setting up carburetors. My problem is that it idles rather high. Yes, I could turn the idle screw down but don't know if the rest is set up properly. Anyway, if anybody is willing and able to take a look and maybe share insight in future projects etc please send me your details.

Cheers,

Thomas

Well I'm in Samford, but that's as good as it gets. I can nearly guarantee your bike won't start at all after I've been at it. 4 strokes are definitely not my thing.
