Title: Flywheel puller for 1979 RM400N
Post by: Twinshock on February 29, 2016, 12:49:42 pm
Can anyone tell me what size I need to buy or suggest somewhere I can buy one to suit an RM400N?
There's lots on eBay but they all look different.
I'm keen to ensure I buy the right one.
Thanks in advance.

Buy 3 allen head bolts 50mm long @  M5 x0.8 pitch  spacing between drill hole in flat  plate 21mm
Buy a bolt 65mm long with at least 45mm of thread  plus a nut.
Tack weld the nut or thread the plate to take your bolt centre of 3  three drilled holes.

20 minutes is all it takes to make one :-)

hint ... you can use your mag as a template for measurements.

Just remember to put a bit of aluminium/bronze/brass between the end of the centre bolt and the end of the crank
