Hey Guys,
I plan on running my TM250 in a 3 hour enduro type race, http://www.vcgp.com/, and am a little worried about the down pipe getting smashed up. Anyone know of or ever see a up pipe for any of the TM bikes?
Thanks!

Hmmmm "ninjamk" where do I recognise that username form the RGV forum? :D
You 'might' be able to fabricate an up pipe but Suzuki didn't leave you much room. The only one that might fit would be a snail pipe

be cheaper to make a seriously good steel bash plate pipe protector like the ts models had. the weight is not an issue as its old bike racing and protecting the pipe is more important than winning....is my take.

Why not try a TS250 pipe?
I believe the TS frame is the same as the TM so there is room on the RHS for the pipe to fit and the fitment to the motor should be similar. You’d need to make mounts for the body of the pipe.
I don’t know how much power you may lose but if you’re keen you could mod one to make up for it

Look for a Torque Engineering TS 250 pipe. Way better than the stocker. Jemco also make TS250 up pipe too.

TS250 chassis are different on the right upper rear of the main cradle to accommodate the up pipe. The stock TM250 airbox could also interfere with an up pipe and the TS exhaust exit angle is the same as '72/'73 TM250..not 74/75 ;) Buy a spare roughy pipe and make a guard to use for the enduro would be my plan.

Thanks guys,
I managed to find a bash guard and as long as it works with my aftermarket pipe we should be good. Otherwise I found a beat up stocker that I might pick up. Long term I will probably try to get some sort of up pipe created.
Lozza, never been on the RGV forum before. Spend some time at 2strokeworld.com so maybe from there?
