Advertising for a mate who's got some dramas.
I know very little about it, but here it what he's told me:
Was running when parked a few years back.
Believed to be on the original piston.
Original seat cover in excellent condition.
Original tank paint.
Tyres may be original???
Here's what I can add:
It is filthy dirty and will need plastics, but it looks like it might be one of those 'diamond in the rough' bikes. There is the chance it could clean up to be a "survivor" bike, but I think it's more likely to be a great project starting point.
(Disclaimer: I've never looked at it will buyer's eyes, nor have I seen/heard it running.)
Bike is located ~15km out of Goulburn NSW.
$1350ono.
SOLD
I've got one average photo, which I'll post up tonight.

If it's still there when Bonanza is on i'll take a look on way through. Will have folding. How did you go with XR bits as discussed?

This has been sold (maybe pending payment? Maybe not?).
-
It seems to have taken too long a time, it should have sold in the first 30 seconds after it was listed IMO. Not often a Suzuki (or any 125) enthusiast could come across something like that for what I thought was more than a fair asking price.

Was that cheap? Why did I take less for my tidy, running rideable YZ125D with heaps of spares?
-
I wouldn't say cheap, more like very fair. RM125B was the giant killer of the day, pretty, fast & trick. The Suzuki 125's were the pinnacle of development. Plus the fact it was basically original & unmolested even though a tad neglected, had to help the sale. I too am glad (sort of) that it wasn't in close proximity to me. YZ125D was a good bike but still not a 125B.

I agree, mine came in sorta like this one, was all original, yep everything
but needed a good amount of work before raceable, turned out a low hour unit
now very happy
