Title: 1983 Mr Motocross Broadford Final
Post by: Rossvickicampbell on February 05, 2016, 03:40:37 pm
was Mr Motocross only for 500cc/open machines or not?  I was surprised to see a watercooled Suzuki (????) Number 35 at the 12:01 minute mark of the video and thought 250??????

Brian Martin ?

Can't recall 100% but I think it may have been open season as I think I can recall Mark Pace running a CR250 the year before he turned out on the Mugen 360.

Mark Pace was running the 360 Mugen a few years before this - Leisky and the others on 480's?

It was Unlimited.. more and more guys started running 250s and in 85 the series changed to 250cc capacity.

And that's when it started  to be " just another open meeting" and the punters started to lose interest.
