I use lock wire on the sump bolts
Allen head cap screws with holes in the bolt heads for lock wire .
Because you only need to tighten them just that to much and you will crack the sump cover like I did    :o

Yep thats what I did, just nipping up that big bolt. $30 odd dollars. Couldnt believe it, but Yamaha did just release the SR400...that should mean heaps of parts back in stock! :)
