Title: Mechanical "doping"
Post by: Lozza on February 02, 2016, 11:12:51 pm
We all have heard the Lance Armstrong stories and other tales of how bent professional cycling is , it has been taken to a new level, with what has been the first case of "mechanical doping". Rather oddly only at a U23's cyclocross championship meeting not at a big race. The end bit is pretty amazing that it is that blatant.

Motor in the frame is probably better for you long term that all the other doping that goes on &  cheaper

Personally don't care about cycling as it's inherently a cheater's paradise.  I'm more amazed at this great technology!

Heck yeah I need some of that. It's getting cheap too.

Wonder when someone is going to do similar to a motor bike. An extra couple of KW's just at the correct time on a 125 GP bike could make all the difference.
We will have to watch out for those electric starter motor conversion on vintage MX bikes. Could be worth more power than those Oxygenating fuels.

Probably not much quicker than now, after all the drugs they know how to test for are the old stuff that hasn't been used by the top guys for ages

China will prob genetically modify their bikes and make them into Avatars like the blue monkeys.
At first i think wow!
but then again.... I couldn’t really give a rats arse about those date stretcher races. There is that much cheating in it I don’t even know why they keep it going.
