Drool.

I've had a few RD250/350LCs, an RZ350, and an RGV250. Loved them.
Always thought an RG500 engined RGV (250) would be a good thing, but I believe it's a pretty "gung ho"conversion.

The 500 2 stroke days were certainly a classic era for GP racing.

93 hasn't been in a gravel trap either. Yamaha give it to Toshihiko Honma at the end of the season after Kevin Magee rode it. Sat in Honma-san shed since then.

They way Kevin looked Saturday morning he should not have been allowed ride anything, drunk, crook from something don't no but he was not in a good way about 10am I watched as someone helped him across the pit lane to the wall, he couldn't even walk..

Nice bike thou Lozza and a fantastic meeting.

I wouldn't mind an RZ500 - after having had an RZ350 - however have been told they handled like shite - is that correct?

RG500 a lot better bike Ross, seen the engine used in plenty of specials including 1 done to look like a Rothmans NSR

RZ500 handled quite good when sorted properly, they had to wider front tyre on them in stock trim a 120/80/16 if you took that off and went to a 110/90 they handled a lot better, I had both when they were new, the RG is still a better road bike but as a race bike they were both extremely good when sorted. I rode my old RG to the island classic on the weekend and they are great fun just to be on one..
