Title: Enduro HL500
Post by: HL500 on January 24, 2016, 04:51:41 pm
Just thought I'd share some more photos of my replica HL.  Got Geoff to make a swing arm with the lower shock mounts further back.  My feet can touch the ground now.  Fitting an IT175 NOS tank, made an encased chain guide and converted the rear brake to cable to complete the package.  Its almost ready to fire up.

........unfortunately, this is as far as I have got with my enduro version, it's locked away in the shed 'til I finish moving house to Tassie. :'( >:(

One of a kind and nicely done, good job.
I don't usually like HL's with different tanks but agree that the IT tank finish's it better as an Enduro bike.
It seems to fit into place nicely.

I've always liked the idea of a HL enduro. Well done.  Have collected bits to build a poor man's version, just need to buy a roundtoit.
