We have the Mansfield Tavern, which was once a great live music venue, but now just hosts kickboxing nights and Friday arvo booby girls. And whole suburb is basically an industrial estate.
Some people may say Manly is more manly but I've been to the one in Sydney and it's kinda girly to be honest. And Manly in Brisbane used to be manly but now it's a bit lah de dah as well. But I believe you can still get in a fight at the pub there so I should probably keep my opinions to myself.
I have a beard too. After all it would be kinda silly to live in a place called Mans Field without one.
Gonna have another chop at this VMX gig. The last one failed about 5 years ago due to a strange confluence of finding out that my now ex-wife was cheating on me, shortly followed by a rather large shortage of the folding stuff. Coincidence? I like to think so. I'm an optimist you see.
She wanted the 86 RM250 in the settlement. I said take it. Which of course made her change her mind. Strange folk.
So I'm about to buy an 84 RM 250 (I think) and try to get to QVMX in a couple of weeks and thereafter for the rest of the season. I'd prefer a RM250N but ol' mate in Stanthorpe wants $6250 for it which is a bit of a stretch for me at the mo'. Maybe one day.
I have big plans but. I'm fat and slow so I think we should have a weight/capacity class. For example, blokes over 80 kilos on 80s and blokes over 100 kilos on 125s. The 250/250 class may require a forklift so I'm gonna say we revert to pounds for that one.

Hi Tony, good to hear about the motorbike stuff, but how are the blokes who live in one of the other aussie Mansfields going to deal with their masculinity issues created by knowing how good the Brisbane one is?

"Over 80kgs on 80cc" class.
Sign me up! 8)
I've always thought (well, since I've been old and slow) that a combined age class, bike and rider, would be interesting.
60yo class - a 60yo rider could use a brand new bike. A 50yo would need a bike at least 10yo. A 20yo rider would have to ride a 40yo bike....I'm 52, and own a 2008F

Look it's not a bad idea. Suburban 4 day. There is a golf course about 200m from my house?
Which we used to kinda sorta push our bikes through to get to the bush on the other side when we were kids.
Sometimes.
But to be fair we would stop and wait if there was someone about to tee off.
