Title: IT 175 ignition parts
Post by: TC91 on January 12, 2016, 01:57:33 pm: Hi all, I am after ignition parts to suit 77 - 79 It175, prefix numbers 1w2-85500-20-00 or 2w6-85500-20-00.

Post by: TT5 Matt on January 16, 2016, 07:55:45 pm: id say the rotor would be wrong as the maggie is on the oposite side of the motor and would be spinning clockwise instead of anticlockwise but im sure others would know more on yams then i do ;) ;D

click on the parts and they will tell you what else it fitted in the US at least.

for example, the rotor is listed as:
This Yamaha 1W2-85550-20-00 ROTOR ASSEMBLY is used on these models and components:

1977 IT175D C - D - I - MAGNETO
1978 IT175E C - D - I - MAGNETO
1979 IT175F C - D - I - MAGNETO
1980 IT125G C - D - I - MAGNETO
1981 IT125H C - D - I - MAGNETO

Post by: TT5 Matt on January 17, 2016, 12:21:48 am: true a it125g/h that were using the old motor design are the same rotor but fen880 was talking about a 81 IT175H rotor and its part prefix starts with 3r6 and not 1w2 and is on the oposite side of the motor to the old 1w2/2w6 motors
