Title: and I wonder, wonder I do....
Post by: Doc on August 04, 2008, 08:29:39 am
early TS/TM250 and RL250's use that wonderfull pushrod thru the motor worm gear clutch setup which over time gets worn or the pushrod bends and other issues arise which makes the clutch somewhat heavy and a fair dinkum pain in the ass to use avoid at all cost type thing which obviously becomes quite annoying the slower I need to go as in with the RL250's. Since I don't plan on riding any organized meetings with these bikes in the foreseeable future I've been looking at these little units from the Chinese cheapies that may well be an answer to my heavy clutches. Can anyone see any reason as to why these hydraulic setups would not work. It appears so simple it isn't funny and it seems silly not to try it  :-\

where do ya get it!!! China and eGay of course!!  :D

but yeah, I agree, it is still semi-cable operated in a sense so little modification is required. Magura make em' too eh Rusty??..for what?? trials bikes? pushies?? aftermarket accessory type thing?? I've never seen one till I spotted the chinese ones  :-\ and,  in case with all the excitement and festivities of the Conondale ( I can never spell it right!) weekend I forget, thanks for those Zook race pants by the way..just what I needed!! seriously they are! 'tis hard to get vintage stuff in kids sizes!! :D  thanks!!  ;)

All the late model 4 stroke Husky's come standard with a Magura hydraulic clutch. Not too sure if they would be legal on a vintage bike, depends on the scrutineer i guess.
