hi 2freeq, hard to say what it be worth without seeing the bike in question. It also seems to depend what phase the moon is in but as a rought guide, anywhere between $1000-$2000 is in the ballpark. The 125A is desirable but not overly desirable as a racer as the B was noticably superior. In saying that I am neither an investor/collector nor am I a serious racer and the A models appeal to me simply because it was a first and the Great Gaston promoted it ;D Maybe not the first RM125 but the first of the case reed design at least.. It's like the old question 'how long is a piece of string?' your guess is as good as anyone's. Do you have a pic, I'm sure there'd be a bit of interest stirred up here just by the mear mentioning you have one for sale ;)

I've about 4 days to get this one finished in time for the Connondale Classic :P

2freeq, maybe, maybe not, if someone buys it then yes but this value will be determined by the specific buyers and how bad they want it. To properly restore your RM125B for example you could without doubt spend in the vicinity of $8000, add the labour costs which are never recovered and yes, that figure does have some foundation. Same bike may get passed in tomorrow (unlikely)for $1500 such is the nature of the vintage bike market.

Or compare it to this one posted by TM Bill in the 'One for Dodgee' thread.
