Gyday all, just joined the fray, Ive just turned 50  :'( and have been riding bikes for 47 of those (first bike Deltec rockhopper) I have a few Old bikes in the shed 2 x IT250 J's and 2 x XR500's 81/83 (might have just sold the 83 :) Been looking for a good PE400X for reasonable coin and also a 85 KTM 500 MXC. Live in Hornsby NSW Aust which gives me easy access into the Watagans SF (i also have a Gasgas 300 and DRZ400) Like restoring old bikes and cars although my panel beating skills are on par with a 3 year old throwing a tantrum  :D

  If you're into  trail riding  & like the old bikes,  then you will enjoy a vintage enduro .
  Plenty of nice spots to ride in NSW  at  VTR  events .
  Great way to have a fun weekend on the old bikes .

Ollie, do you know Nick Blyth in Hornsby?  He's a regular Watagan's guy too (KTM300), and rides/races there with a big bunch of guys.

Hi lads, thanks for the welcome, Gerard, dont  know of Nick ? but due to occupation ive been out of the country for fairly long lengths of time. Im also on several other forums (DBW,Old Bull trailriders,ITforum)

He goes riding up there regularly and often with a bunch of other middle age dudes (I think all on modern bikes).  But he's a good man to know in a tight spot.  or just to go riding with.  private mail me (via the forum facility) if you want his ph number.
