Hi Ghostdancing,Welcome to ozvmx, it does'nt matter about the english as long as you speak vintage motorcycles , good luck with your HL XT250 you should find plenty of info here :)

Hi, I am very interested in your project as I have also build a vinduro style "HL" base 500 bike.

Gday and welcome, will be interested to see your HL250 as I to have built my version of a 1982 HL with RM Full Floater suspension

thanx for the nice welcome.. i hope can post some pictures soon...i'm in touch with an aussie\german friend that made a similar conversion (really well made) some years ago (he should be a mamber here as well).
my XT will be not a racer but a license plated bike legal for street use.. KLX250 swingarm, twin shocks (of course), IT250 forks, simplified electric wiring.. no street stuff (blinkers, gauges etc..), but a pair of passenger footrests for my daughter..all the rest is rather stock
will post some pictures when i'll be ready

Howdy Mr Italy. I've got a tweaked TT250 - they respond well to XT350 valves (1mm bigger), head flowing and TTR carby. Straight fit even for stage two 350 yam atv cams. Mine goes very well for a two valve air cooled 250.

Welcome ghostdancer, ironically, so far your English is better than many on here! ;D
Good luck with the HL250, I would love to see that completed.
Tony.
