I see Pro-X and Hot Rods are both readily available. Wondering which one to buy?
Has any one had a bad or ordinary experience with either one?
Thanks.

i have used the Hot rods kits on both CR250 & CR500's without issue.
i would buy the OEM honda kit as you can still get the longer rods 87- 2000 (85/86 short rod kits are hard to get in OEM)

Thanks Hoony :)
Just out of interest I found this 480 rod whilst looking, not cheap

Looking at about $670AUD by the time conversion and the 3.7% Paypal currency exchange fee is added.

I have fitted a lot of both brands and not had one come back. ProX are mostly made in Japan and Hotrod in Taiwan.
Your choise.
More important is to find someone with a jig to assemble it correctly without killing the tin covers.

Hi Sleepy, you are obviously very experienced.
Comforting to know in advance that either purchase is worthy, thank you :)
