Title: decent brand of seat cover - RM250/370
Post by: Jumbo J on November 20, 2015, 02:15:20 pm
Guys, can anyone recommend a decent brand of seat cover for an RM370. I bought a DC plastics one (or so the online retailer told me) and its pretty crap. Really thin, super shiny/slippery and just not very well made. So i sent it back . he said he has other brands - MXM, CMS and Pit Rep, and that they are all the same quality!

Any recommendations on what brand i should be looking for and do any of the 76-77 RM ones have that thin beading strip between the stitching, like some of the better quality ones I've seen on bikes?

I've used Pit Replica, straight from them on ebay, used them on CR500RE, KX250A5 x 2, RM125B, RM80B and they even custom-made a cover for a KX250A5 with KDX printed on the seat for my A5 with a KDX400 engine fitted.

Next time I order one I will ask for an extra 5-10mm all the way around, they all were a bastard to fit and pulled a little too tight in the corners.  Apart from that they are great.

Top line for sure. He will custom make to your design. Full grip, half grip, ribs, your name, brand name, anything you want. Very good quality and price. And he's in Australia
