Title: Sold something to forum'er but they didn't pay.
Post by: John Orchard on October 31, 2015, 11:53:50 am: I only sell something when I am totally broke and need the money; I'd love to build-up my stock of vintage stuff. Over a year ago I sent something to someone off this forum who owns a motorcycle shop in NSW, it was under $100 but that doesn't matter, he kept saying that he has been very busy but still hasn't paid; well he'll not even get the steam off my piss from now on!

Hi John, I have spoken with you before, you seem like a man of your word. ask him if i can go past his shop with his permission (if in sydney) and get the cash, give him a receipt and i will transfer to your account...

Post by: TT5 Matt on October 31, 2015, 12:58:12 pm: yeah it puts a bad taste in your mouth when fellow vmx's do that to you,i adopt the rules the suppermarkets/stores use and no cash no goods that way you dont get ripped off! i remember yrs ago when i split a ds80 bottom end to change the kick starter pawls/gear lever shaft and a few seals/gasket which i paid for for a mate of a mate and when the low life heard the job was done he jumped my back fence and took the motor from my open shed as id just gone into the house for a drink. yrs later when he had a nice car it got a full tube of valve grinding paste in the diff and box for his efforts ;D ;D
