Title: Post 74 400's
Post by: pirie593 on October 26, 2015, 07:32:14 pm
I notice that the 1978 400 is considered a follow-on to the 1977 400 in the MA MOMS (see 16.15.11.8(a) ).  Can any-one remember a 1978 model 400?  I also seem to remember that the poms were doing some great conversions in the mid-70's (I think Bickers was behind it), but I can't find any images or information.  Any help out there?

Not sure when they stopped building the Faltas but I'm pretty sure the 514 was first built quite a bit later even though they look similar to the late 70s works bikes

They were made but not many export at least not it the States. Maybe some U.K. and Canada but they pretty much had run the course here by '76.....

I don't think so, only the Canadian built RVs came with reeds standard

Clearing out old boxes of files from the shed and viola !!!!  I knew I had seen images of a modern looking CZ circa 77/78.  Does any-one know if there are any still in existence?  It looks to be based on a Falta frame.  Would it be eligible for pre-1978?????

Have seen a few photos of them from the states, not sure if any of them made it out of north America. I don't see why they wouldn't be pre78 eligible seeing as the ad says new for 77
