G'day viewers just thought I would share my happiness lol I was looking at buying a tool box & thought a cantilever one would work well 4 my needs looked on eBay & these go 4 $103 on a promotion anyways went to Bunnings on line they were 86.90 but the shop had them at $79.90. When I went to the check out they tried to put the price up to the $86.90 but I said you've got a price over there that says $79.90 so I walked out the door with 2 one for me & one for my son. So Garry, you walked out of the door with two of them? I think that the agreement between retailer and customer requires that you actually pay for them. ;D
I've still got the same cantilever toolbox that I bought when I was 17. I hope you get the same service out of yours mate.

Na I paid,it's to hard to run with your hands full Pete lol That's cool you still have the same one after all these years. I have my first general purpose tool box my old man gave me,when I was 12 & then I made one in metal work at high school when I was 16. Jimson

Not trying to steal your thunder jimson, and they look very fit for purpose, but have to say how chuffed I am to progress after all these years from a couple of cantilever toolboxes that reside on my workshop floor to a toolchest. A grand's worth - amazingly at partner's urging! As a result, trailered away from Bunnings the 'Deluxe' chest - over a metre wide, on castors, with twelve stainless steel drawers on rollers and closing buffers, and a lacquered butchers block top. Everything went inside with space for nice laying out, so now I just glide open and shut drawers for tools - sweet!

My first tool box, bought for me by my late father when I was a child. (Recently retrieved from parents house)
Even in my late teens, I'd throw in any tools I thought I'd need for a days MX racing into that little box. When it was full I "knew" I had enough for most repairs.
Looking into it one day my friend remarked "you must be a really good mechanic...... You brought two hammers!" :P

Like life, many more things seem essential now..... I didn't have a spoke torque wrench in the little box.... ::)

Skypig that tool box looks like it's got some stories to tell. Plenty of character & Gerard I looked at that in Bunnings & thought how cool, but I needed a tool box 4 working on site & the cantilever kincrome is the go 4 me. Jimson
