Anyone got a manual for an 88-89 ATK 250 air cooled ?? or at least a manual or some sort of instructions for the Rotax motors they used in them.This one came in a box along with a complete.....well, pretty much complete.....roller, even has that weird primary sprocket mounted disc brake :o ???

I thought the 250 engine is rotary disc valve while 406 is crank case reed valve?

Rotax engines don't usually have manuals as such just exploded parts books. Good news is they are similar across the range with many common parts.

the exploded diagram in the "engine tech notes" should be very close for any rotary valve rotax .The gearbox should be the same for a reed valve

Not a problem Disc timing is the paramount, there are 3 possible all marked by casting marks, would need to see your Dise to confirm which one is for yours
there early TNT - late Canam THEN SWM
