1978 pe 175 for sale $1600 ono
has compliance plate
overall good condition, alltho forks are in excellent cond they need seals.
headlight works but tail light blows bulbs :-\
motor and gearbox good.
rebuilt original shocks.
will be at VTR enduro Yass next weekend

Man $1800 for that!!!! Whats wrong with these people, who would bother "coming around for a look" at that price....if i was in the market id be saying gimme your bank details and ill worry about the details later!!!! it wasn't all that long ago that a bike like that for $1800 wouldn't last a few hours on here,,,has the game changed that much or is there just less people playing it? :-\

bit of a recession Brendon if you hadn't noticed. a definite shortage of cash for toys in the market place. still good money for genuine collectables but the also rans are dropping away quickly in value as more are up for sale to maintain income during tight times.
I flicked through Ebay collectible cars the other nite and was surprised at how many auctions were nearly finished with no bids at all.

Recession. What recession. The only place in the world with more operating tower cranes than Sydney at the moment is Dubai. When you see tower cranes you see millions of dollars changing hands. As far as collectables and also rans are concerned I believe they are all collectable for someone who may have had one back in the day. I know this bike and it is worth way more than he is asking. He has just got it listed in the wrong spot. Yep...on here.

E bay it much wider market and the fees are not bad ........look at the big picture......you will be exposed to a much larger market.I have recently sold a mint TM400 to NZ and lots of CR125M stuff via ebay ;-)

Yep bad time for selling. I got a good set of 500 Honda forks and triples i cant sell for $20 and then i see similar stuff for $100+

I thought exactly the same thing. Throw it on Ebil or Ebiltree,,,,,,, bargin! Gone!

remember all the tower cranes in the late 80's? and the apartments being given away in the following years...business hopping buildings like a low cost brothel as rents plummeted with massive oversupply.
remember the deals to build those towers were signed and sealed many moons ago. they are probably as nervous as cats on a hot tin roof waiting to see if they can be rented.
I hope it levels out but I cant see much happening in the short term to seriously swing lots of cash into the economy.
my business sees it all 5 years before it hits the general public and we are on the doorstep of a bit of a slump. Recent job losses will see many "second mortgage" properties hit the market as rents drop below payments and the price plummet will commence. will not affect Sydney or melb as the chinese have it on their radar as the place to be before their assets get re nationalised...
so I think we will see a reset on wages and living costs in the next 3 - 5 years
im going to make a cup of tea and have a nice lie down....

Nice hybrid, can you give a brief of it's makeup? Noticed what I think are RM100/125 (1975) side covers in white that look a treat, what motor and frame?
