He's advertised on Facebook & a few other places, was ridden by Daryl King at Conondale Classic. You can se it in photo's from there. I think the actual sale prices is somewhere in the $8k-$10K range. Rare, crazy fast bike's (bit like the '81 KTM495's). They tamed them down for the next model.

This bike is a rare and very well sorted race bike that just won the recent International 500 Twinshock Challenge at Conondale. This bike just got stronger over each and every 3 x 15 minute moto it ran in. It easily stood up to the very high calibre ability of Darryl King. Irrespective of what price he's asking you will not find another Evo 500 as well sorted, reliable or good. It is fitted with a brand new custom made Lewis Brothers Racing exhaust and was was raced as such at Conondale which the photo doesn't show

Speaking to the high bidder this afternoon (one of my clients), we wondered if he'd win @ around $7K. Got a text later on saying he'd won it for $7k. Bargain if it's as listed.

Way better value than the unrestored US import that was floating around, including quite a bit of discussion on it in these forums a while ago, with an asking price of the Kings ransom. Not the most rideable bike around for the average rider, but great that it is staying in Australia by the sound of things.
