Title: 250 motosport engine case paint colour

Any one have a paint code to paint the engine cases for one of these? I don,t think they were a straight silver ,was there a greenish ting to the colour.Cheers elc

I always though that it was a clear lacquer and the "colour" was due to the magnesium covers.

I have a couple of 250 motorsports in my shed and they are on my project list, so I would also be interested in what the best / most correct paint for the engine cover.

Someone told me once that ford mint green was a close match.

Apparently ford spruce green  is very close also.
