Title: 1976 DG CR125 Racer
Post by: alexbrown64 on September 02, 2015, 12:42:15 pm
Just got an email from the dodgy mob over at East coast vintage mx.  Looks like they scored a good bike out of a private collection.  They didn't "restore" it themselves, so it should be OK.  $6K US scores it, then be prepared for about 2K in shipping if you use them (not recommended).

Cheers,

That's a very nice bike.
No sot good with Aussie dollar trading at 70 cents to US dollar.

Ya, would be 10 grand landed here. I reckon you could make 2 locally for that price.

More I look, more I like. Is this a factory offered bike, or someone's dream build ?
Never be able to afford it tho.
That's a great idea, Momus. Are these bikes hard to get here in Oz ?

I think it is a replica of the team bikes DG raced in the day.

Those bikes are about in fair numbers though a build like that would be the sort of endeavour someone with a stash of parts would have a go at. A scratch build would be hard.
