It’s FULL Noise for Yass, we will be making a new loop around 15km to 20kms long with bits of the old in as well.
We will make it a fun flowing ride . Yes it will a mix of riding .But if you Follow easy( Blue Arrows) will keep you on a Fun ride .
As the (Blue Arrows) will be riding on the fire trails as much as we can .

This will also be the end of year AGM and dinner! And it’s time to have a say to nominate and vote in the 2016 VTR committee This must be emailed to the VTR secretary by the 25th of September 2015 No further nominations will be accepted after 25th of September 2015.

All members will be emailed nomination forms and further information on the AGM dinner in the next few weeks.

I think I've got the IT sorted so am really hoping to get out for a ride - this one is pencilled in. I've only ridden twice since the last one I think, I'm getting rusty and stir crazy!

It will NOT COST you anything to just Book a Event Licence but if you DON'T we just mite NOT have one for you .

And you could turn up and will not have a Event License for you .

With 20kms Hard well not to Hard some very nice single trail stuff

Or you can just take it nice and relaxed and that the 10kms the easy stuff most fire trail and some single trail .

The A.G.M. will be held after dinner Saturday night giving any member the chance to air their views on the club. So make some notes and put them to the club in General Business.

vTr ( the club ) are supplying all members with a free feed on the Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. We need some guys to cook it. Scott Maxwell, Michael Bennett and myself will do dinner Saturday night. We need guys for Saturday and Sunday morning. C'mon Team Green and Team Husky ( EQ's) get it sorted. We don't want the Committee or the guys that have set up our tracks throughout the year TO HAVE to do this as well. It's about time that we showed these guys our appreciation by looking after THEM.

I understand that if you joined vTr at the last meeting at Canowindra your membership would be valid for ALL of 2016. I can only assume that if you join at Yass it would be the same, plus you will get three ( 3 ) free feeds making it very attractive to be part of the fastest growing vintage club in OZ.

Post by: Graeme M on October 10, 2015, 08:27:00 pm: Yep, it was a top little track, and the weather was perfect. Could have done with some rain to lay the dust but you can't have everything. Thanks to Dennis and all the VTR boys for putting on a great show. I managed 4 or 5 laps which was more than enough to give me my dirtbike hit, but I saw plenty of guys putting in a lot more. Especially that Nathan Senior - every time I looked up while in the pits there he was heading out or coming back in. He must have done a zillion laps.

It's funny with these vinduros, I rarely see anyone out on the track. I think I maybe saw two or three other riders on each loop and on my last one never saw anyone at all....

I took two bikes - managed to get a flat tyre on one, and killed a head gasket on the other...

and What a year as we welcomed our 155 Member..

As all year the weather Good did shine on us But we really did want rain .....

a Hot 10 Day or so with High temps and wind did Dry things Out and dryed out all of the Creek crossing and made some
parts of the 18km loop Very Dusty .

Still 70 happy rider all still had a Good time and I hope the Photo and You-tube video
will show you all what a Good time was had by all at Yass ...

I can only echo what everyone else has said. VTR has proven to be an absolute success story. Thanks to Dennis and crew for making this kind of vintage event possible. It's absolutely perfect for people like me who want a more relaxed and fun kind of vintage event. Racing is fine and plenty of folk like to do that, but there are also those who like to just have fun. I was only ever a trailrider back in the day, never learned how to do jumps, and bashing around in the bush is my idea of having a good time on a dirtbike.

This latest event at Yass was a ripper. As I said earlier the track was a great mix of tight single trail, some open trails/fireroads, a few hills and even a rock section. Just perfect. My little IT175G is a great bike for this kind of riding too, couldn't fault it.

So, here's to more of the same in 2016. I hope to get along to a few more than I did this year so bring it on. Well done VTR for creating the perfect formula!!

Here's a short clip I posted on Facebook earlier. It covers the first fast bit and then some nice tight-ish sections and a few little hills - just the sort of riding I love. No jumps and no mud... :)

The Arrow are a Guide to get you around the Loop and riding on the side of the Mud or a obstacle is just Smart ...
