Gent, I'm looking for info regarding reproduction ignition/counter shaft covers for the 1973 CR 250M. some time ago I seen one for sale on the net that was made from carbon fibre or Kevlar?......Is anyone making a repo in Australia?
Any help much appreciated, thanks.

I recall someone doing a repo one for the 125M's but not 250, have you looked on US fleebay for a good used one?
I may have a spare one, would have to check :)

Thanks for your reply!......I'm thinking you might be right about them being made for the 125 but not the 250.
Been looking on ebay world wide, can only see one very sad example on ebay US.
If you have a spare you can let go, please let me know!
Cheers, Phil.

I have a good '75 ignition cover which will be fine for a racer but not for a concourse resto.

Thanks!... A 75 cover could be an option if I can't find the earlier one.
