David - you wouldn't also know the gearbox oil capacity required for just a change would you?  Ie not split the cases etc?

next question - as doing a tidy up on this RM.

In pulling bits and pieces off the bike for some minor resto and repair work I have found it appears the kill switch is not connected although the two wires are "end" loose under the tank.  It doesn't appear there is anywhere the wires have pulled from as there is only one connector not hooked up underneath?  Any suggestions?  I did a check on spark and still have spark so wondering whether it has been connected at all as I know some guys do or do the 2 wires feed into the one connector?  Bit ambiguous questioning I know!

cheers

doesn't look like it.  Bit grubby underneath so hard to see if they have pulled from anywhere but doubtful.  But will have another look.

Rosco, 1 wire should be earthed to metal and the other wire to coil (there should be a wire from coil to connect to)

RM 370 has a one wire kill switch (round metal with red button) as standard, goes to the coil. You must have an after market one on your bike. You can buy reproduction original style switches from any bike shop.

thanks guys - yes K saw that when I went looking and therefore can't see where these wires have "pulled" from which makes me wonder if they were ever hooked up.  Shall have a play and if does not work with earthing and connecting will try and get a 1 wire one.

thanks
