Hi all,
Rebuilding an '81 klx and wondered if anyone knows of wide footrests that are an easy fit?
It's been a long road getting a garage built, then clearing it of push bikes, kayaks, decortating stuff etc to reclaim it!
Last few parts are coming together so hopefully finished by end of Sept.
Cheers

Gday Giler.
Try these from eBay seller "motopartsport" :

I have fitted a set of these Stainless pegs to my 76 KX400 and my 79, 83 and 89 KX250's. Only took a little modifying.
Might fit your KLX?
Pretty cheap experiment in any case....
Hope that helps mate. :)

send the standard ones to Geoff at GMC - he can fix them up - make wider etc - and then you know they will fit on :)

Or he sells them to fit yourself.
