Title: Trailer hold down options

I have a 3 bike trailer with a mesh floor & full length wheel channels,What methods are people using to stop the rear wheel from jumping out of the channel when going over bumpy ground? I use occy straps or the thicker black rubber straps with steel hooks that the paint shops sell, both work well & are quick & easy to use but I am forever  replacing them as they rub on the mesh or the angle on the channel slowly fray,snap & fall off >:(

I just usually use a tie down on to swingarm so it cant jump that way you end up having a heap of spare tie downs incase one frays or lets go or something I have a tub of them now.

Use a turn buckle though the peg and the mesh

i use a thick leather dog collar, tie the rear wheel  into the channel
The shocks are free to do as they wish, never had a failure.

tie down from the frame to a mount point on the back corners - pulls tight also against the front tie downs and have never had a wheel move out yet.

There's a great gadget called a tyre-down.  piece of metal that that fits over the rear tyre and a ratchet strap on each side.  Holds perfectly.  One of those, a trailer mate at the front and a bar strap and you're done.  Loaded and tied down in 5 minutes.

I wrap a ratchet tie down around the tyre at the lowest point. Tie down is hooked onto either side of the trailer. It's a little bit fiddly, but works beautifully.

stick your heasd under the drivers seat of an iveco van and grab the rubber strap that holds the jack in place,perfect been using them for years lasting well.i work in a wrecking yard so thats where i got mine from but i guess your local iveco dealer would have them.use this vin# to order one 7cfc4090005423252.

The tie straps that come on new Harleys in the creates were great for this. Im running out of them thou.
