I hope he pulls through without too many deficits.One of the all time greats and as tough as Nails.......good luck Joel !

I have always been a huge fan of the great man and was very sad to see he had suffered an stroke. I've never been one to "chase" sporting superstars but felt moved enough to send an email to the address that Doc put up this morning. Imagine my surprise to get a reply from Joel's wife who assured me is 50% improved. Clearly she reads stuff from down here so if you feel the urge to communicate your best wishes go ahead. It will be much appreciated. J
