I have a good friend who is restoring a CR250M and has asked me if I could keep a look out for a really good clean straight tank .
Would there possible be any forum members that may have such a tank for sale......

there is a guy in the usa who makes new ones at not a bad price

That's a pretty good price for a new tank when you think of how much it can cost to panelbeat a damaged tank properly

fibreglass though?  There were plastic aftermarket tanks out there a while ago but can't remember as haven't looked at Honda for so long - maybe try www.re-mx.com and see if links there.  Plastic was cheaper then.
