Title: Plastic Tank Welding

Anyone know of a plastic welder in the Newcastle / Sydney area that does plastic repairs on tanks? Mate has a YZ490 that has a split in the tank and wants to get it repaired.

I repaired a 79 yz125 tank and it just split somewhere else later on.

Clarke only do oversize 490 tanks.

I agree that if it's split from age, it will just split again. I'd only weld a plastic tank that had copped an injury.
