has anyone on here bought rims from torpedo 7, are they any good ?

Run a pair on my CZ, been on there for a full season & seem ok. Wheelbuilder reckoned they a bit softer than excels, need to use large diameter spoke nipples after drilling to match the conical hubs & keep an eye on spoke tension

I bought two sets of rims 2x21 2x18 they are fine , the wheel building guy I know said the same they were a bit softer than some but were fine for old bikes that were not leaping 20 ft up in the air , they were heaps cheaper when I bought them but they must be popular and they banged the price up , when I bought them they were $49.95 a rim then had the 30% off deal so they were a bargain back then , even at $89.95 they seem a good price.

I brought a full set of complete wheels for my drz400 only easy trail riding no hassles at all very happy.Same they were cheap on special have not seen them for same price think they were $400 for the pair
