Title: George TELFER “Tycon George” RIP

Phil Lovett & Rosco Holden informed us today on facebook  the passing of the creator of the Tycon jersey..padded for extra protection and buoyancy.  :)
A legendary New South Welshman and Icon.

Just a short note to correct a slight inaccuracy here.

The credit for creating the Tycon jerseys should rightly go to (Thomas) Young Connor, (T Y CON) an American ex-pat who started the firm in the early '70s. Tom also raced an RH250 Suzuki in those days. George Telfer became one of the proprietors in the early '80s.
