2v's have a milled plate that covers the flap valves and feed into a tank between the engine plates with a drain cock at the back

I've got one for a JAP, Jim. Don't think it would fit your Jawa. I'll dig it out and have a look

Kevin Mc Donald and Titman used to sell them years back, (who sells speedway stuff in Oz now?)
i bought one for my Weslake and used a bit of hose up to a plastic bottle between the engine plates above the countershaft. i mounted the plastic bottle with rubber straps so i could release it easy to dump the oil.

there is a bloke in England who makes them but has told me they wont fit grasstrack bikes with a gearbox. he makes the plate that sits under the engine with a spigot like hoony says. if a put a bottle on top of the gearbox will the oil go up into the bottle 5 inches above the outlet point on the bottom of the engine
alan the jap one wont fit
-
the oil entry to my bottle was a good 10 inches above the outlet spigot, crankcase vet pressure seemed to push the oil no problem on my Wessie so reckon you should be ok.
-
Thanks will sort it out now

Does anyone have a contact for the gentleman in the UK who manufactures the plates for the outlet spigot. Need one for a JAP and my Wessie. Haven't seen his advert on ebay for quite a while.
