frame is a homebuild job by a friend . it is styled a little after a Cheney BSA

Don't go over the top with bumping up the compression you will pull the cylinder studs right out of the cases there shit material
-
i would not worry about that . i put 24.5 mm long timeserts in the cases .
never had a problem in 25 years roadracing Ducati singles .

Great bit of kit Eldert, dont mean to pick, just saying, would luv to see old school mega phone on it, bloody good choice muffler you got there for racing ;)
-
I'm with you Pete old mega phone would be my choice just MO...
Coming along nice thou looks fantastic.
-
Nice work,
What are the other specs, wheels, brakes, forks etc?
It's coming together very nice.
-
front wheel is from a Moto Morini Kanguro . for the rear i wanted something with a rubber mounted sprocket carrier to make things easy on the gearbox . found out a Yamaha XT 350 has a transmission damper in the hub and its pretty light .
front forks i made myself . sliders are Betor from a Cagiva . stancions are from a Honda VTR 250 and have sliding bushings . i had the cagiva sliders honed 1mm bigger for the bushings .
made damperrods out of 6061 aluminum and had them hard anodized .
put racetech emulators on top of the rods .
tripple clamps are Marzocchi .

it has been a while but a little update on the bike .
engine build is done . i put a HPI ignition on it and it is a first or 2nd kick starter . very nice idle and it pulls like a freight train from low down . i did not put this engine on the dyno but it should have 38 / 40 rw hp
