Title: West Aust 26 April 2015-Syd Swepstone

RIP - Syd Swepstone
Sadly, the club has received unfortunate news regarding one of our past members, Syd Swepstone. In a tragic competition accident Syd has lost his life doing what he loved while racing at Beverley this weekend. Many of our members will remember many a close race with Syd who was always leading the pack. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Tracy and family at this time.

VMXWA Rider#30 ~~ An all round nice guy, always stops for a catch up whenever he and Tracy are at Dandaloo Park Narrogin or other bike event.
Will be sadly missed by many. Gone too young. RIP Syd Swepstone ~ A grader.

Nice post Alison.Great guy and a real top class vintage racer taken too early.Condolences to Tracy and family.

I was really upset to hear the news - was a nice guy and always had time to talk to us "also rans".  Was very fast and a pleasure to watch.

RIP Syd Swepstone, Truly a shock to hear the tragic news this weekend, an all round genuine Guy and great competitor, Our thoughts are with Tracy and the boys.

I was shocked when I heard the news on Sunday arvo... Syd was a great all round guy..as Ross noted, Syd had time and a smile and laugh for everyone.. great guy, great father and husband..really rapid racer..RIP
