Title: Yamaha "574 model" 400cc engine

DT400 Yamaha, Model "574" Complete engine assembly with CDI and wiring, carby ,cables ,levers and a chamber. Heaps of compression, selects all gears and a healthy spark before removed at on Friday 24th. Electronics will replace points on earlier RT360cc and stop heaps of the leg breaker kickback. Magnesium front sprocket cover is there too in good order. The oil injection unit has been removed and blanked off.  around  $230.00 ,you have to pick up or arrange freight please, but willing to store for ya. Tim

will it fit in a DT 250 A frame ?  and would it be pre 75 legal or not as a like model ?  too far fetched ?

Freaky I pulled it out of a "501" frame. No not Pre75 legal. None of the 400cc are. Last larger trail one that is, is the DT360A next the DT400B and its follow ons are not  :( Tim    It would be pre78 legal. The electronics are legal for all eras.

Sorry mate I made the add up early this morning on a delayed start before going out.  :( Still feel free to bid you may get it cheaper. And forum members can collect whenever much longer storage OK.  Oh yes it seems to be sound inside but I have not stripped it down to look.
