Heap more entries today get those entries in please so you are not disappointed. Please don't rely on entering late.

Entered looking forward to it. How often can you race your VMX bike under lights?
-
Spoke to the Gloucester guys and almost unbelievably there has been little rain this week at Gloucester. Only 10-12mm while Dungog which is 40mins away was literally nearly washed away with homes destroyed and the sad loss of life of 3 elderly people.
All system go so get those entries in don't be disappointed
-
Yes great event last year, highly recommend it
-
We now have all but 90 entries with a doy or so to go which usually are big days for entries as all the last minute guys get them in. If you want to ride this event get your entry in as we will have to cut it off at about 130. Please don't rely on entry on the day as you may be disappointed or at the very least contact us before setting off.
There has been minimal rain at Gloucester <15mm since last Friday. Yes I can hardly beleive it either but several people from the town have told me the same thing.
Plenty of spots available for Pre65 & Pre70 so keep them coming (I want to see 14 of each on the grid this year, got 11 last year 8))
-

We ran under lights at the Bridgetown Grasstrack a couple of years ago and it certainly added an extra dimension to the spectacle! Not to mention we had about 9 pre75 sidecars running on the night! Good luck with the event! I'd like to say I will be there but I'm 4000k's away :)
-
Do you need a hand on Friday as I can come early?
-
Help to set up is always good :) see you when you arrive
-
Well everything in in place for a big weekend 8)
9 Pre65s so far
11 Pre70s to date
119 entries in total
There are only a few places left in the main Gloucester TT races so if you are thinking of just rocking up (we had a lot of entries on the day last year) you probably should ring although we can use some help ;D

Whats the deal with the weather at this venue? I dont want to be negative but the weather does not look good at all if the predictions are right.

Will gloucester be lucky the second Time round :-\
It's not looking good .

Bollocks!
It's looking GREAT !
Since when does a little bit of rain worry us tuffies?
Bring ya bikes, raincoats and tearoffs.... happy days !! :D
-
Its looking fantastic
Throw in a rain coat , some changes of riding gear ,after all it is a all weather sport
-
Plenty of sheds to shelter from the rain (if it does) when not riding I agree with Hardo and Shoey lets look at the positives. 120 + entries lets have a crack and enjoy !!!!
-
I love the mud like pigs do , but didn't want to travel up there and find out when I get there it may be canned .
So looks like most are keen for some tt500 Roost then ;D
-
Excellent numbers boys! Looks like it'll be a cracker!!!!
-
Been up here since 2pm and scattered clouds no rain
This has been the most accurate forecast
http://ozforecast.com.au/cgi-bin/weather.cgi?station=Gloucester.NSW&radar
Unfortunately there are no certainties except death and taxes ::)
The day of rain has progressively moved from Thursday a few days ago to now Saturday and the rain amount has reduced. Unfortunately it is what it is. At present we still have the water truck booked ;)
keep an eye on the WEB page, Facebook and here for updates. We are super keen to run the meeting. With 122 entries it is going to be a blast.

You not coming Stew?!
-
Guys we are at Gloucester setting up it has been raining all morning but not heavily. We will make a call at 3pm and post here, facebook and our WEB page. Best we can do. It will be wet but we have the option of just running Saturday evening or even just Sunday. Keep you posted

I hope it goes ahead, we're loaded up.
-
I know people will make decisions as they feel best if you decide not to ride please SMS or email to make it easier for us
-
We're obsessively looking at weather forecasts, but the Gloucester forecast seems to be a copy/modification of Taree forecasts which seem to be quite different to what's actually happening.
-
Hi Nath,
No can do :'(
-
At this stage we will delay the start for Saturday until 11am sign on and 1pm for practice to allow people to travel Saturday morning.
-
The final decision will be made at 07:00am Saturday morning. Sign on will open at 12pm and practice at 2pm Saturday. Sorry that is the best we can do the weather forecast is confusing and reports from other areas is constantly changing. That should allow most people to travel tomorrow morning if they choose. We realise that it is not ideal
-
I can't make it, floods up here. Hope you get a break with the weather and it all goes well
-
Unfortunately racing has been cancelled for the weekend. Rec riding may be available from 1pm but with more rain forecast for today than fell yesterday so rec riding is still uncertain.
We are very sorry but there is little we can do
-
We got half way to the Gloucester races and while we stopped for coffee at McDonalds on the M1 I checked the HEAVEN facebook page to find that the weather had forced the cancellation. I feel for the club committee guys who have put so much effort into the organisation of this unique event. I hope they're not too discouraged and can hopefully factor in another meeting there for later in the year.
Instead of the show'n'shine and racing I now get to spend the weekend doing some more renovation work on Casa del Firko.
-
Not discouraged but very disappointed for all the riders who travelled or were travelling. We tried our very best but the final straw was a massive 35-45min down pour at 3am this morning. 100-200mm of water over many parts of the showground, particularly the start straight and landing area off the jumps just made it too risky to race. There is nought we can do about the weather. We tried to keep everyone informed on when decisions would be made.
We have already made initial discussions with our contacts at Glocester to hopefully return later in the year. There were 122 entries with at least 10 more who had contacted use.
10 Pre65s
11 Pre70s
we are slowly rebuilding the numbers in these classes. 8) we are very pleased with that :) Even had Jonesy enter his beautiful Metisse along with 2 other Metisse (is that the plural of Metisse? ::) ) 3 Bultacos, 1 Husky, 1 Maico, 1 Royal Enfield and 1 Jawa in Pre65
The club made some donations
$500 to Gloucester Rotary club for their 'Safe biking on the Buckets Way' fund raiser (this the reason they run the Motorcycle Expo)
$500 to the Dungog/Stround flood relief fund which were the areas hard hit recently and only 40min away from Gloucester.
It was a bit confronting as we drove to and from Gloucester to see the cars and caravans in Stroud that had been washed away a week or so ago. Seeing a Toyota Hilux sitting vertically in a tree sort of brought the cancellation of our race meeting into focus. :(

You know what they say about "happy wife, happy life"? Well my life has been a misery since this morning's announcement! ;)
We both understand and appreciate the effort that went into this, but there's a point where circumstances beat the best planning, effort and good intention.
Now eagerly awaiting any announcement on a new date.
