They are ok things, the guy selling that one was the importer but he was pushing the proverbial uphill against the mainstream brands. That one is a decent example.

Rotax 257 engine a leisurely 50hp out of the box, 6 speed balance shaft, wish I could afford it.

Rear guard is KX, shrouds are RM/RMX(?), any guesses on the side plates?
Not sure what you get for $2k that you don't get for less money from a similar age RMX or KTM-EXC, though.

Something different. Probably the same reason we muck around with old bikes instead of newer gear that is easier to get parts for and easier to ride.

50hp 6 speed/balance shaft should be enough

Looks like a good thing to me. Rotax motor (parts are easy to get) Marzocchi, White Power, Brembo, all familiar names in Enduro. And it seems very well priced. If I was in need of another Enduro steed I'd go and have a look.

I've not ridden one, but I do remember being impressed by them when they first came out - both on paper and in the flesh (the bike shop in Corrimal/Fairy Meadow across the road from Fraser's was a dealer).
Then all the tests said the same thing: poorly set up and soft core. I'm as cynical about the accuracy of magazine tests as anyone... but when the magazines all agree with each other, and the company disappears soon after... Well...
Each to their own, but I can think of cooler ways to waste money and break your own heart (eg: a bolt-together VOR).

Same engine as the ATK 250 LQ. mate bought one when they came out and still has it gathering dust in his shed. I rode it for a day, it was ok but nothing outstanding. The importer was a small time operator, not enough $ to push it along. Possible future collectable.
