Title: The Price of mini bikes?
Post by: Slakewell on March 28, 2015, 02:44:51 pm
Do people actually pay the prices I see on some of these things? It would appear that a 1986 model in 80cc is worth as much as 250cc machine? I understand the silver Honda XR's are worth a bit and early model YZ's and RM's but when I see a 1988 yz 80 on ebay and there asking 10k I'm confused.

I think I know the one you mention Slakey - and I was surprised at most of his prices - then plus freight to where ever.

If its the guy in CA in the states, he has a few bikes on eBay and they are way over priced. He wants $16 k for an 83 KTM 504

Yeah, that guy seems to overprice all of his bikes. Must be the fancy logo he uses for his business name...... And when you read through the description, it turns out the "original" low hour bike has new plastics, fresh tyres, new this and that....
I understand the early and milestone minibike prices, but for run of the mill QA50,s and DAX's, I just don't get it.
